Rugby Africa has resolved to cancel the 2020 international season.

The Covid-19 pandemic has forced a number of countries Uganda inclusive, to end their football seasons prematurely.

Express FC last week announced the extension of Wasswa Bbosa’s contract as head coach for the next three years.

The Uganda Premier League was last week halted with five games left after domestic football governing body Fufa invoked the 75 per cent rule in the competition's regulations and declared Vipers champions StarTimes Uganda Premier League champions.

The National Council of Sports has tasked various federations to prepare for their return to sport whenever the government gives a green light to such gatherings.

Sport has been on hold since mid March when government announced a directive to stop all social gatherings in a bid to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic.

After being appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer  (CEO) of Express FC, Isaac Mwesigwa is targeting nothing but success.

“The programme of international scheduled within the July 2020 window has been postponed due to ongoing government and health agency COVID-19 directives.” The statement reads in part.
