2019/20 Premier League
Round 13
23-25 November 2019
Struggling capital city clubs West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur will meet for a
Premier League derby at London Stadium on Saturday 23 November 2019, kick-off at 15:30 CAT.
West Ham come into the clash on the back of a dispiriting 3-0 loss away to Burnley before the international break. The Hammers have taken just two points from the last 18 available and dropped down to 16th on the log, just five points above the relegation zone.
"We need to work together more than ever. We will have five or six players who will go to their national squads but this work is more than to recover individual performances. We will try to recover the trust as a team, and I am sure the results will come,” said manager Manuel Pellegrini.

He added: "We need to keep a cool head and continue working the way we think we must do it better and after that we will see the results."
Spurs have gone five games without a win in the Premier League, with their last outing before the international break a 1-1 draw at home to Sheffield United. The Lilywhites are down in 14th place, just one point ahead of West Ham.
"The reality is that for different reasons we are not showing the performances that we expect," said manager Mauricio Pochettino. "I need to look forward and keep working and try to improve. We are not in a good position in the table."
In head-to-head stats, West Ham and Tottenham have met in 116 previous matches. Spurs have claimed 50 wins compared to 41 for the Hammers, while 25 games have been drawn.
The teams’ Premier League meetings last season produced two away wins: Spurs won 2-1 at the London Stadium in October 2018, while the return game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was won 1-0 by the Hammers. None of the last six matches between these teams, across all competitions, have produced a home win.
