Rúben Dias, the City defender, says it is a wonderful feeling to be in the Champions League final after producing a solid performance against France's Paris Saint Germain (PSG) in the semi-finals.

"I’m very happy. It was a patient performance from us. We had to defend well but we coped with what they threw at us and deserved the win," Diaz said.

"To be in the final is a wonderful feeling. It’s a good balance with us. We defend well as a team, no matter which players are in there – me or someone else.

"At the other end we have players who can hurt the opposition. It was great for Riyad [Mahrez] to get his goals."
