Leicester City will look to continue their fine campaign when they host West Ham United at the King Power Stadium on Wednesday 22 January 2020, kick-off at 22:30. The match is one of 10 spread across the midweek of 21-23 January for the 24^th round of the 2019/20 Premier League season.

Leicester will be looking to win back favour from their home fans, with their last match at the King Power Stadium ending in a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Southampton – a team they crushed 9-0 in the first half of the season.

"This isn’t a group that’s complacent at all. It was always going to be tough, especially where we are in our schedule,” said manager Brendan Rodgers, as his side looks to keep up their push to finish in the top four.

West Ham’s last away game was a narrow 1-0 loss at Sheffield United in which a controversial VAR call ruled out an equaliser for the Hammers. They will need to pick up positive results as they look to mitigate the danger of relegation.

“It takes a new manager time to implement what he wants to do and find out enough about the players. When you come in mid-season, it’s not easy to actually get a handle on things very quickly, but to get some wins under your belt as a new manager is really helpful,” said Hammers boss David Moyes.

In head-to-head stats, Leicester and West Ham have met in 133 previous matches. The Hammers have claimed 52 wins compared to 48 for the Foxes, while 33 games have been drawn.

When the teams met in the Premier League earlier this season, at London Stadium in December 2019, Leicester claimed a 2-1 away win thanks to goals from Kelechi Iheanacho and Demarai Gray.
