5 - Barcelona
Barcelona has been both a dominate force in La Liga and the Champions League. The club has won an impressive 26 domestic titles and five Champions League titles. Although perennial rivals Real Madrid surpass Barça in both competitions, the club nonetheless has been, and continue to be a dominate force in European soccer.
4 - Bayern Munich
Few teams in the history of European soccer have dominated their own national league like Bayern Munich. The club has won the Bundesliga a staggering 28 times with the next closest competitor, Borussia Dortmund winning just 5 titles.

In the Champions League, Bayern Munich has extended their Bundesliga form to take on Europe’s best. The club has won five titles, which includes a three year unbeaten streak between 1974 and 1976. Munich only just surpasses Barcelona on the rankings by being Champions League runners up twice more than the Spaniards.
3 - Liverpool
Over the last three decades, Liverpool have had more success in Europe than at home. The club has failed to win the Premier League in over 30 years, although that looks likely to change, yet has managed to secure two Champions League titles. In total, the Reds have won a combined six Champions League titles including back to back victories in 1977 and 1978.
2 - Milan
Despite Juventus all but making the Serie A pointless over the last decade, AC Milan are Italy’s most dominate club in Europe. Whereas Juventus has only won two Champions League titles, Milan has won seven, including back to back victories in 1989 and 1990.
1 - Real Madrid
Despite being one of five on this list, Los Blancos stand apart. Real Madrid has managed to not only dominate La Liga but has also been an unstoppable force in the Champions League. The men from Madrid have won the tournament 13 times, a tally that includes an undefeated run of five years from 1956 to 1960 and a three-year run between 2016 and 2018.
