Manchester City will take aim at Burnley and chase another three point haul when the teams meet at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday 14 March 2020, kick-off at 18:00. The match is one of 10 spread from 14 to 16 March for the 30
th round of the
2019/20 Premier League season.
City come into the clash on the back of a disappointing 2-0 loss away to Manchester United in the derby this past Sunday, a result which means their inevitable dethroning as Premier League champions by Liverpool has crept ever closer.
"We played good, we missed a little in the final third but the second half was better and it was a good performance," said manager Pep Guardiola. "We play the same way, tried the press and defend well and we did well. Our game is there, we played really good in terms of coming here.”

Burnley extended their unbeaten run in the Premier League to seven matches with a 1-1- draw at home to Tottenham Hotspur this past weekend, with Chris Wood netting for the Clarets. Yet they were left frustrated by an incident in which they were denied a strong claim for a penalty.
"It's not about that though, the performance was better than one incident,” explained manager Sean Dyche, who latter added: “I am confused by the refereeing at the moment because I don't know what they are going to give and what they are not going to give, which is hard as a manager. You just toss a coin and hope it drops your way."
In head-to-head stats, City and Burnley have met in 102 previous matches. The Citizens have claimed 48 wins compared to 29 for the Clarets, while 25 games have been drawn.
When the teams met in the Premier League earlier this season, at Turf Moor in December 2019, City claimed a 4-1 away win thanks to goals from Gabriel Jesus (two), Rodri and Riyad Mahrez. The Manchester team is unbeaten in their last nine matches against Burnley across all competitions.
