Chelsea are scheduled to face Lille in a Group H
Champions League match at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday.
The former English champions drew 2-2 with Spanish side Valencia in their previous Group H game which was played in Spain on November 27.
The draw left Chelsea placed third on the group standings having accumulated eight points from five matches.
Cesar Azpilicueta, the Chelsea defender, reflected on their clash with Valencia as they look to secure a win over Lille.
"We didn’t manage [the game] well. We had a good reaction to the first goal but when we were 2-1 up we should have created more danger, more chances," Azpilicueta said on Metro.

"Valencia are a good team, they have quality, and they pushed to the end because they wanted to qualify as well.
"We would prefer to have the three points, but we have qualification in our hands against Lille at home."
Meanwhile, Lille were beaten 2-0 by Dutch giants Ajax Amsterdam at home in their previous which was played in France on November 27.
The defeat left the former French champions placed fourth on the group standings having collected a point from five matches.
The last competitive meeting between Chelsea and Lille was on the 2nd of October 2019.
Chelsea recorded a 2-1 victory over Lille in a match which was played at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy.
