Zverev target second ATP Finals title

German starlet Alexander Zverev will be eager to win the Nitto ATP Finals for the second time. 
The 23-year-old player has been ranked as high as number three in the world by the ATP and he is ranked seventh at the moment. 
Zverev is looking to become the first German player to win the ATP Finals title twice having lifted his maiden trophy in 2018.

Zverev defeated Novak Djokovic in the ATP Finals final in straight sets for the tenth and biggest title of his career.
The Hamburg-born player has been in good form lately having won two consecutive ATP 250 events in Cologne, Germany in the 2020 ATP Tour.

Zverev defeated Félix Auger-Aliassime and Diego Schwartzman, both in straight sets in the finals.
The towering player recently reached the final of the 2020 Paris Masters where he lost to Daniil Medvedev in three sets.

Zverev indicated that lack of fitness affected his performance in the final against Medvedev and he shared a message to his critics. 
“I have some strange pain in my thigh. I have to check what it is. It didn’t feel good at the end," Zverev said.
"That wasn’t the reason I lost – I was also tired today.
“I know that there’s gonna be a lot of people that right now are trying to wipe a smile off my face but under this mask I’m smiling brightly," he added.
"I feel incredible on court […] everything is great in my life. The people who are trying can keep trying."
