We are doing our work in silence -Express CEO

Express FC are not in the news as one of the teams doing business in the transfer market.

Having let go of about twenty players already, the club was expected to be active and trying to fill the void left by the former players.

New Club CEO Isaac Mwesigwa, however, says the club are in business albeit not in the public eye.

He advised the Red Eagles fans to stay calm and wait for the right to see what his team has been working on.

"We have done 85% part of our business and will only reveal them to the public at the right time," Mwesigwa told the media this week.

“What I assure our fans is that we are active and smart in the market.

“So far, we have completed 85% of the deals and in the near future, our communication department will reveal the complete deals,” he added.

With sports activities still off in the country, the club will have enough time to clean their closet and prepare for the next football season.

"We are looking at players that we hope will take us to another level in terms of position but also lift our brand – the biggest in Ugandan football.”

Head coach Wasswa Bbosa will be tasked with getting Express back to winning ways.

The club has flirted with relegation in recent times and the new management has made it clear that should not been part of the conversation starting with the next season
