Villarreal will face off with SD Eibar in a

The Yellow Submarine were held to a 1-1 draw by Huesca at home in their opening match of the 2020/21 season which was played on September 13.
As a result, they are unbeaten in their last two matches in the league having recorded one victory and one draw.

Unai Emery, the Villarreal manager, says his side needs to improve in front of goal ahead of their encounter with Eibar.

“We have been good defensively," Emery said.
"We have cancelled most of the opponent's counter-attack actions and we have played very close to the Huesca area thanks to the game on the wings.
"We have lacked some success in the last phase. We want to improve in that area."

Meanwhile, Eibar were held to a 0-0 draw by Celta Vigo at home in their first match of the 2020/21 season league which was played on September 12.
As a result, the Gunsmiths are winless in their last two league matches having recorded one draw and one defeat.
They have been inconsistent on the road having recorded two defeats, two wins and one draw in their last five away matches.
The last meeting between Villarreal and Eibar in a league match was on 19 July 2020.
The Yellow Submarine emerged 4-0 winners over the Gunsmiths in an encounter which was played at the Estadio de la Cerámica.
