Uganda Rugby Sevens want qualification from Hong Kong

When the Uganda Rugby Sevens leave for the Hong Kong Sevens this weekend, all the eyes will be on the main target, winning the qualifier for more international action.

There's only one slot for teams to fight for in a bid to acquire core status and feature more in the HSBC world series.

The Cranes have for the past few months been undertaking  intense training under the watchful eyes of head coach Tolbert Onyango and new strength and conditioning coach Geofrey Kimani.

“We have been training hard and the boys are now ready for the Hong Kong sevens. We are hopeful that we shall emerge victors,” Onyango Tolbert said this week.

Four Betway Kobs players were selected on the team to the 2019 HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series qualifiers that are slated for April 5, 2019 - April 7.
