Austrian star Dominic Thiem will be eager to make history at the
Rolex Paris Masters.
The 27-year-old player is ranked third in the world and it is also his career-high ATP singles ranking.
Thiem is looking to become the first Austrian player to win the Paris Masters after being eliminated in the third round last year.

The 2020 US Open champion won his first Masters 1000 title at the 2019 BNP Paribas Open Indian Wells, beating Roger Federer in the final.
Thiem was also the runner-up of the 2019 ATP Finals, where he lost to Stefanos Tsitsipas.

The Lichtenwörth-based player came close to reaching the Paris Masters final for the first time in 2018.
Thiem was seeded sixth reaching the semi-finals before losing to eventual champion Karen Khachanov.

“I’m fine again now,” Dominic Thiem told Der Standard said when asked if he had recovered from an exhausting summer that featured back-to-back Grand Slams.
“The hall looks really good. A very cool thing that we have perfect training conditions here.
“Vienna Open is a very big goal every year, so I only concentrate on that. I will go into the bubble tomorrow, have three or four good days of training on the field
"And see that I get close to mine again for Tuesday I’m in top form. That will be necessary in this field this year."
