Tanzania will lock horns with Uganda in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier at the National Stadium on Sunday, March 24. Kick-off is at 18h00.

The Taifa Stars lost 1-0 to Lesotho away in their last qualifier which was played four months ago. 
 
Prior to their clash Lesotho, Tanzania had secured a 2-0 win over Cape Verde at home. 
 
While Uganda beat Cape Verde 1-0 at home in their previous qualifier which was played four months ago. 
 
The win extended Cranes' unbeaten run to eight matches in the qualifiers having registered two wins and six draws.
 
Tanzania drew 0-0 with Uganda away in their previous Group L game.

Meanwhile, Cape Verde will host Lesotho in the 2019 AFCON qualifier at the Estádio Nacional de Cabo Verde on Sunday, March 24. Kick-off is at 18h00.
 
The Blue Sharks are winless in their last two matches in the qualifiers having lost 1-0 to Uganda.
 
On the other hand, Lesotho ended their six-match winless run in the qualifiers when they beat Tanzania 1-0.
 
Cape Verde drew 1-1 with Lesotho away in their previous Group L game.
