Super Rugby Match Preview : Reds Battle Force

Queensland Reds will lock horns with Western Force in the 2017 Super Rugby match at the Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane on Friday night.

Reds, who placed second on the Australian Conference table, recorded a 29-24 victory over Rebels away in their last league match almost a fortnight ago. As a result, they returned to winning ways. Before facing Rebels, they had registered two successive defeats against Waratahs and Chiefs. The last time Reds tasted victory at home was last month when they recorded an impressive 47-34 home victory over Southern Kings.
Force, who are placed fourth on the Australian Conference table, are coming off a 55-6 defeat to Highlanders in their last league match last week Saturday. This was Force's fourth loss in their five Super Rugby matches. Before facing Highlanders, they had registered a 16-6 victory over Argentina Super Rugby. This was also Force's last victory on the road. Before facing Argentina, they had endured a eight-match winless run away from home in the Super Rugby.

Reds and Force have met 13 times in competitive matches. The two sides have registered six victories each, while one match ended in a draw.
