Southampton will play host to Manchester City in an
English Premier League match at the St Mary's Stadium on July 05.
This will be the 32nd meeting between the two teams in the English Premier League era.
City have the upper hand having recorded 18 wins compared to Southampton's six victories, while seven matches ended in a draw.
The Citizens also won the last league meeting between the two teams on 2 November 2019.

Ralph Hasenhuttl, the Southampton manager, says his side needs to collect maximum points in their remaining games including their clash with City.
“We are looking for the last six games and we know we can still take a lot of points,” Hasenhuttl said.
“We have this record run of away games, but we have to because our home record is going in the opposite way. It’s not interesting where we take the points, what’s important is that we take them."
Meanwhile, Southampton are winless in their last two home matches in the league having recorded two successive defeats at the St Mary's Stadium.
However, the Saints succumbed to a 2-0 defeat to Arsenal FC in their last home match which was played on June 25.
While City are also winless in their last two away matches in the league having registered two consecutive defeats as the visitors.
The Citizens were edged out 2-1 by Chelsea FC in their last away game which was played on June 25.
