Nsengiyunva looking to join Wasswa Bbosa's Express list

Wasswa Bbosa's first stint as Express head coach between 2014-2016 will be remembered among other reasons, as a time in which several budding talents got their first taste of topflight league action.

Taddeo Lwanga, Ibrahim Kayiwa, Godfrey Lwesibawa and Mahad Kakooza being among several players to make their league debuts at the Betway Muteesa II Stadium.

New recruit Isaac Nsengiyunva will be looking to join that established list after becoming the club's ninth off-season signing.

“I am exceedingly humbled to join the red eagles, I have read a lot about the club and I like the direction it’s taking, am here to help the team achieve its targets in future,” Nsengiyunva revealed.

The holding midfielder joins a central midfield department that includes Kakooza and Abel Eturude among some of the new recruits while Daniel Shabena is among those who were retained.

“I believe in the team and I am sure we shall surely perform well although I think our mental strength has to be up there as it will help the players to be focused even when we have a dip in form,” Nsengiyunva added.

The 20 year old has joined the Red Eagles on a three year deal from regional side Free Stars FC based in Mukono becoming the club’s ninth signing for the upcoming campaign.
