On Friday September 11th September, Express FC announced the signing of striker Charles Musige via social media.
The forward became Express' 10th signing ahead of the upcoming football season.
As a striker, Musige will be judged by how many goals he scores at the end of the season.
"As a striker I'm expected to score as many goals to help the team," he told the club website after his unveiling.
Musige is not new to the Startimes Uganda Premier League having featured for Tooro United last season.
He scored five goals and registered six assists in 20 games for Tooro.
He also picked up two man of the match awards and will be looking to do that and more for the Red Eagles.
Musige is excited by the idea of joining Wasswa Bbosa's charges because of the history of the club.
"I'm very happy to be a Red Eagle, it's only the best that join this big club.
"The focus for the club is on reclaiming the glory days and I'm happy to be part of that."
Mustafa Kiragga is the other striker to have joined the club this transfer window and the two will compete for places with the team's top scorer from last season, Frank Kalanda.
