British and Irish Lions will square off with Crusaders in a preparatory match at the AMI Stadium in Christchurch, New Zealand on Saturday. Lions will be using this game as preparation for their three-test series against New Zealand's All Blacks later this month.
The European side are coming off a 22-16 defeat to New Zealand side Blues in a match which was played on Wednesday. Before facing Blues, Lions beat New Zealand Barbarians 13-7 in a game which was played on last week Saturday.
Crusaders have been unstoppable in the Super Rugby having won 13 matches in a row which sees them sitting at the top of the overall standings. The New Zealand side recorded a hard-fought 25-22 victory over Highlands in their last Super Rugby match which was played last week Saturday.
