Proline opened its account on the continent with a near-perfect 3-0 victory over Malawi’s Masters Security in the first leg of the Caf Confederation Cup preliminaries a fortnight ago.
The Ugandan side got the soft landing thanks to a hat-trick from Ivan Bogere, a player modelled by coach Shafik Bisaso.
Bisaso has since left Proline boost his coaching credentials at Swedish club Skelletea FF for a year.
While he is away, Matia Lule is now in charge of the Proline and his first task is to help them complete the round when they visit Security at Dedza Stadium on Saturday.
Lule has little or no injury concerns, implying few changes will take place. But he has the bulk of players to rely on beginning with the experienced back-line that has Ssaka Mpima, Yusuf Mukisa, Bernard Muwanga and Mustapha Mujuzi.
Sam Kintu will take the defensive midfield role while upfront, Bogere will seek support from Nurdin Bunjo, Bright Anukani and Ibrahim Wammanah.
A desired result sees Proline advance to meet the victor between Tanzania’s Kinondoni Municipal Council and Rwanda’s AS Kigali. They played out a goalless draw in Kigali.
