Pirates Topple Heathens While Kobs Hammer Hippos

Buzz Pirates confronted their first major test of the season with utmost confidence, and it paid off. The start to the game was exactly what Bobby Musinguzi wanted from his charges. Ronald Tusiime scored the first try inside the first two minutes of the game as he charged down Chris Lubanga's clearance before chasing and landing onto the ball for the first points of the day. Conrad Wanyama made no mistake adding the extras before converting a penalty to make it 10-0.

Muhammad Athiyo's troops couldn't find a response and went into the halftime break with no points on board.  Wanyama added another penalty to stretch the Sea Robbers' lead before before Lubanga split the posts for the visitors' first points. With Harunah Muhammad's try stretching Pirates' lead further, Allan Otim and substitute Faizal Gama crossed the white chalk for Heathens to breath life back into the contest. The loss was Heathen`s third against Pirates in as many games.
