Onduparaka’ s Adraa Upgrades Coaching Badges

Most clubs use the off-season to strengthen their playing staff or even make changes to their technical teams. As they prepare for their second season in the topflight division, Onduparaka have kept in line with the arrangement having signed three players ahead of the domestic transfer season that begins on Saturday July 01.
Not to be left out, the Betway sponsored club’s technical wing have been active too. Veteran coach Leo Adraa has used the period to upgrade his coaching badges and is now among the 61 Caf B licensed coaches in Uganda including club head coach Livingstone Mbabazi.
Adraa’s credentials were confirmed at a ceremony held at Fufa House and attended by Fufa president Moses Magogo. He will now be able to sit in the Onduapraka bench next season having been barred after his previous courses were equated to the Caf License C.
Adraa joined the club at the start of their maiden season in the topflight league following the departure of Allan Kabonge. He is one of the most experienced coaches in East Africa in an international career that has seen him coach the uganda National team Cranes as well as South Sudan.
His club career has seen him coach several Ugandan clubs including the now defunct Scoul from Lugazi and giants Express. He also had stints at Gulu and Fire Masters before joining South Sudan side Atlabara. Onduparaka finished fifth in the 2016/2017 Azam Uganda Premier League.
