Express Coach charged for Indiscipline

Express FC head coach Wasswa Bbosa has been suspended and fined by the FUFA Ethics and Disciplinary Committee.

The tactician has been ordered to pay USH. 2m and suspended for three games.

This comes at a time the defending champions are preparing to bounce back from their 2-0 defeat to newly promoted Arua Hill on matchday one.

Bbosa will now sit out games against UPDF FC (Bombo) on October 23, BUL (Bugembe) on October 26 and Vipers (Wankulukuku) on October 30.

He will be expected to return to the dugout against Police FC on November 2.

“Wasswa Bbosa, the Head coach of Express FC has been suspended for three Competition matches and fined UGX2M for his unsporting comments made in the UPL match between Express FC and Arua Hill.

“The fine of Sh2M must be paid within 15 days
from receipt of the decision released today. He is required to produce proof of payment of the same to the Ethics and Disciplinary Committee by 5th November 2021.”

Bbosa is said to have openly accused club CEO Isaac Mwesigwa of bribing match officials to have Express lose their league opener.

It is not the first time Bbosa is facing disciplinary action. He was fined  Ush. 2m for comments made after the game against Vipers in February.

Most importantly for Express will be a result against UPDF on Saturday to put points on the board and start the race to defend their title.
