Conrad Mukwaya has become a permanent member of the Betway Kobs team since joining from the UCU Shepherds.
He has been a big part of the Kobs side this season but his dreams are bigger than just playing for his club.
The professional accountant has his eyes on becoming one of the nation sevens stars when the head coach Tolbert Onyango summons his team for national duty.
“My target is to join the National Sevens side this year,” Mukwaya reveals.
The national sevens team has become popular since winning the Africa Cup in 2016 and 2017.

“It is not easy because all the players on the team are good but I just have to work hard,”
Mukwaya turns out for Kobs alongside some of the mainstays on the Sevens team.
Pius Ogena, Ian Munyani, Adrian Kasito and Joseph Aredo are all members of the sevens set up.
Alhajji Manano and Nobert Okeny have also had stints with the team.
Mukwaya started his rugby journey when he joined Namilyango college in his form one.
He later broke his leg and sat out for two years before returning to the game as a university student at Uganda Christian University.
He then joined the Blue Army after his university studies and has been one of the team’s top performers this season.
For now, Mukwaya, like every other sportsman, will have to wait to return to sport.
Sports activities are still on hold following suspension by the president in a bid to stop the spread of the Corona Virus.
Kobs are second on the league log, five points behind table leaders Hima Cement Heathens.
Heathens boast a better points difference and Kobs will have to win all their games first to have any chance of lifting the title.
Pirates and Heathens are some of the teams Kobs have to face in the remaining five games of the season.
