Manchester United will lock horns with Southampton in an
English Premier League match at the Old Trafford Stadium on July 13.
This will be the 42nd meeting between the two teams in the English Premier League era.
Manchester have dominated this fixture having registered 26 wins compared to Southampton's seven victories, while eight games ended in a draw.
However, Southampton held United to a 1-1 draw in last league meeting between the two teams on 31 August 2019 at St Mary's Park.
Marcus Rashford, the United striker, says they need to be ruthless in their remaining league matches.
"There’s plenty of games to go and if we keep doing what we’ve been doing, the numbers could be - well," Rashford said.

On the other hand, Southampton are unbeaten in their last two away matches in the league having registered two consecutive wins.
The Saints will be away to Everton at the Goodison Park on July 09, before traveling to Manchester to face United.
