Bayern Munich steamrolled Barcelona 8-2 in a thrilling display of attacking football to take the German Bundesliga champions to within one game of reaching an 11th Champions League final and first since 2013.
Thomas Muller (2), Ivan Perisic, Serge Gnabry, Joshua Kimmich, Robert Lewandowski and Philippe Coutinho (2) all found the back of the net for the Bundesliga champions on a record-breaking day for the five-time Champions League winners.
Bayern are just the second team in Champions League history to win their first nine games in a campaign and they will equal the record of 10 straight victories with a win in Lisbon on Wednesday.
