Lwesibawa wants to perfect free-kicks

Godfrey Lwesibawa gave Express the lead in the 57th minute of their game against champions Vipers.

The winger punished Halid Lwaliwa's foul some yards outside the box with a powerful drive that deflected off Disan Galiwango and into the back of the net.

That was the second time Lwesibawa was giving Express the lead through a free-kick.

He did the same against Mbarara City but the side has failed to hold on for victory on both occasions. The former SC Villa player now wants to perfect his act.

"My target is to perfect it (free-kick) more to improve my conversion rate and I believe that's achievable," Lwesibawa told the club website in an interview after the draw with Vipers.

"I am happy that I have managed to score twice even when there's some distance the from goal. You need a lot of concentration and technique to find the target from distance."

From the five games played by Wasswa Bbosa's charges, only six goals have been scored and Lwesibawa has two in his name.
Frank Kalanda has scored three while Erick Kambaale has one to his name.

With the 1-1 draw on Tuesday, the Red Eagles are now U.R.A FC this weekend.
