Liverpool FC will battle with Chelsea in an
English Premier League match at the Anfield Stadium on July 22.
This will be the 56th league meeting between the two teams in the English Premier League era.
Liverpool have the upper hand in this fixture having won 21 matches compared to Chelsea's 20 victories, while 14 games ended in a draw.
The Reds also won the last meeting between the two teams on 22 September 2019.
They secured a narrow 2-1 victory over the Blues in an encounter that was played at the Stamford Bridge Stadium.
Cesar Azpilicueta, the Chelsea defender, says they need to treat their remaining games like cup finals to help them secure UEFA Champions League qualification
"We have conceded a lot of goals and obviously that put us in every game in difficulties and now, at this stage of the season, it’s about sticking together, fighting together," Azpilicueta said.
"Our job is to be as high as possible on the table. We got into third place, we are Chelsea and always we aim to finish as high as possible.

The Reds were held to a 1-1 draw by a stubborn Burnley side in their last Premier League match at their home ground, Anfield Stadium on July 11.
While Chelsea lost 3-0 to Sheffield United in their last away match on July 11 and they have been inconsistent on the road.
The Blues have recorded two defeats, two wins and one draw in their last five away matches in the Premier League.
