Following their 1-0 defeat at the San Siro Stadium to AC Milan last time out, l Biancocelesti now find themselves six points adrift of the Rossoneri in fourth place on the
Serie A log. They could cut the gap to just a couple of points with a win over Udinese on Wednesday, who themselves are embroiled in a relegation scrap at the bottom. L Bianconeri are three points above the dreaded drop zone with seven matches left to play.
Le Aquile (The Eagles) have registered only two wins in six since beating bitter rivals Roma 3-0 in the Derby della Capitale at the start of last month. Defeat to AC left Simone Inzaghi’s side winless from their last three matches in the division.

Udinese, on the other hand, saw their very own three match unbeaten run come to an abrupt end as they were edged 1-0 by Roma on the weekend – a result which leaves Igor Tudor and his squad clinging on to ther Serie A life by the smallest of threads.

Lazio are unbeaten in any of their last five home matches domestically since being beaten by the leaders Juventus 2-1 in January. They are locked level at 0-0 with AC Milan after the first leg of their Coppa Italia semi-final in Rome with the return fixture set for next Wednesday.
Udinese’s away form has been dismal this season. In 14 matches played away from their Friuli Stadium, they have notched up just one solitary victory – a 2-0 triumph over bottom-club Chievo back in September.
The home side this weekend, Lazio, have tasted success in all of their last five meetings with l Friulani.
Francesco Acerbi and Joaquin Correa netted in a 2-1 win the last time these two teams met, replicating the scoreline between these two in the same fixture in 2017/18. The corresponding fixture at the Stadio Olimpico last season saw a 3-0 win with Nani and Felipe Anderson amongst the scorers.
Udinese have not beaten Lazio since a 1-0 win in the capital back in September 2014 – a run of nine successive games.
