Lazio will be aiming to bounce back to winning ways in the
2020-21 Serie A season when they host an improving Sampdoria in Rome on Saturday.

Le Aquile's six-game winning run came to an abrupt end on Sunday as they suffered a 3-1 loss away to league leaders Inter. Defeat leaves them in seventh, 10 points off top spot.
"There is regret; we could have achieved more. We knew that Inter could have played the match they did, we kept the pitch and possession well but then read the final [score] 3-1, and there is regret," Lazio head coach Simone Inzaghi told Sky Sport following their loss in Milan.
"After the penalty, we had to go ahead and play. They were good at defending low. We could have achieved a lot more."
Sampdoria won for the third time in five matches, beating Fiorentina 2-1 thanks to a winning goal from veteran forward Fabio Quagliarella. Victory moved
Blucerchiati 15 points clear of the relegation zone.
“He [Quagliarella] is a serious professional, he looks younger than his age and he is a role model for our young players,” Sampdoria head coach Claudio Ranieri told Sky Sport Italia.
The former Leicester City boss added: "Step by step, we must reach 40 points and pay attention. We had some difficult games, we could have lost against Benevento and Fiorentina, it can happen to lose four or five games in a row and lose enthusiasm, we must be careful.”

Sampdoria beat Lazio 3-0 at Stadio Luigi Ferraris earlier this season. Quagliarella was on the scoresheet in that game as well.
