Los Angeles Lakers are close to clinching the 2020 National Basketball Association (NBA) Championship.
 
The Lakers restored their two-game lead over Miami Heat in Game Four on Wednesday morning, October 07.
 
Anthony Davis was the star of the show as the Lakers emerged 102-96 winners over the Heat in an entertaining encounter.

Davis made a 3-pointer with 39.5 seconds remaining to give the Lakers a nine-point lead and secure the game en route to a win and a 3-1 lead over the Heat.
 
His teammate LeBron James also had a good game as he had 28 points, eight assists and 12 rebounds, while Davis finished with 22 points, four assists and nine rebounds.

James, the Lakers small forward, praised Davis, who caught the eye in Game Four with a brilliant display.
 
“[Davis] is a big shot-maker late in the shot clock, early in the shot clock, fourth quarter, first quarter, everything in between,” James said.
 
“He knew it was late in the shot clock and he obviously trusted his shot that he works on consistently.
 
"Big-time shot, big-time play for our team to be able to put the game away.”

While Kentavious Caldwell-Pope added 15 points and Danny Green scored 10 for the Lakers, who are keen to end their 10-year wait for an NBA championship triumph. 
 
The Lakers will be lifting the Larry O'Brien Championship trophy for a record 17th time if they defeat the Heat in Game Four. 
 
They would also be equaling Boston Celtics' record with the NBA giants having won 17 trophies over the years. 
 
Frank Vogel's side will once again look to Davis and James, who have been in scintillating form in the playoffs.
