The
Uganda Lady Cranes will be looking to better last year's performance at the Africa Women's 7s championship this weekend in Jemmal, Tunisia.
Uganda were losing finalists last year after falling to Kenya in the final and will be going out for the win this time round.

With a slot to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in sight, the Africa 7s Cup will carry more weight this time.
The Cranes will play their first game on Saturday against powerhouse South Africa.
Their next game will then be against Zambia before concluding the day with a clash against Zimbabwe.
Head Coach Helen Buteme is confident her charges can put up a challenge at the event.
“This team has dynamic individuals with varying skill sets and they complement each other very well. I am looking forward to seeing how they apply what we have been working on over the last month and a half in training during an actual tournament situation.” she said ahead of the tournament.
The team has 3 debutants; in Agnes Nakuya, Lydia Namabiro and Racheal Mufuwa and these will have to blend with the established campaigners for Uganda to get results.
Veteran Charlotte Mudoola will lead the team as captain and will be deputised by Grace Auma.
