Flying winger Justin Kimono is back for national duty and will be part of the Rugby Cranes team to face Zambia at Kyadondo on Saturday.
The Betway Kobs player has been side-lined with injury but has recovered in time for Uganda’s last home game in this year’s Victoria Cup. Kimono joins six other Betway Kobs players on the team.
Brian Asaba and Ian Munyani, who suffered concussions against Kenya, are back on the team and will be expected to make the starting lineup.
Collin Kimbowa, Pius Ogena, Adrian Kasito and Faraj Odugo are the other players. The squad for the last home game of the competition was announced on Wednesday evening and Seguya made some changes to the side that lost 31-26 to Zimbabwe two weeks ago.
Robert Aziku suffered a nose injury in training and is set to miss out. Kelvin Balagadde, Ivan Kabagambe and Ronald Kanyanya are the other players on the sidelines and they make way for Asaba, Saul Kivumbu and Joseph Kagimu.
Pius Ogena is named as a forward and moving to the flank would see Munyani partnering Michael Wokorach in the midfield as was the case against Kenya at Kyadondo.
Zimbabwe leads standings after picking up three wins against Kenya, Uganda and Zambia. Kenya are second with Uganda and Zambia in third and fourth respectively.
