Betway Power player Nasser Guddi is using the break to stay in shape and get ready for the National Basketball League whenever it tips off.
Basketball, like all other sports in Uganda, is suspended as the country deals with the deadly Corona Virus.
“I am trying my best to stay in shape and will be ready to go whenever we are cleared to play,” Kikili, as he is fondly referred to, revealed.
Head coach Arnold Lando gave the players a manual to follow during this period and Guddi plans to follow it to the dot and even go an extra mile.
“I run daily from Kisaasi through Bukoto, Ntinda and back to Kisaasi. I also do ball work.
“It is really up to us the players because the coaches are not with us. I am personally working on my strength as a player and I have seen other players doing the same.”

Guddi is one of the few survivors from the Power team that played last season with a number of those shown the exit by management to usher in a new dawn.
Isaac Afidra and Brian Sivachi are the other survivors.
Joseph Ikong, Fahmy Ssebatindira, Paul Odongo and Sulaiman Bbale are some of the players that were considered surplus to requirement.
The new recruits include Brian Waters who has played in America, Saudi Arabia, China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Taiwan, Australia.
Yesman Bushiri and Ivan Lumanyika were also signed from JKL while Denis Balungu came in from KIU Titans.
Niwa Bazile Yan and Patrick Seduge were acquired to boost the team’s front court.
