They emerged 3-0 winners over Finland in their last meeting which was the 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifier which was played at the Helsinki Olympic Stadium in June 2009.
Stanislav Cherchesov, the Ukraine head coach, says they will have to find a way to secure a win when they face Denmark after losing 3-0 to Belgium in their Group B opener on June 12.
"We are still in the tournament. We chose our system, which worked partially but then started to break down," Cherchesov said.
"The Belgians scored and then it was difficult to get the ball off them. We would have wanted a better match, both in terms of result and performance.
"We will get out of the situation. We put ourselves there, so now we must find a way out."
