Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton is confident that Mercedes will be back to their best in France this weekend.
Hamilton could only manage a 15th place finish in Azerbaijan earlier this month in a drama-filled race that had to be restarted after race leader Max Verstappen crashed out with a tyre blowout near the end.

Hamilton was on the front row and in a position to reclaim his place atop the Drivers' Championship standings when the race restarted, but the Briton locked up his tyres on the first corner and Verstappen's Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez ultimately won the race.
"A humbling experience," said Hamilton on the team website. "It's one of the toughest moments I've had for a while -- one moment we had all the points and the next we had none but for sure, we'll regroup and come back."

As a result of what happened in Baku, Verstappen still holds a four-point lead over Hamilton while Red Bull have opened a 26-point gap between themselves and Mercedes on the Constructors' Championship standings.
