The much-anticipated Premier League return is set for June 17, and there will be players who will be looking to impress.

Here are the 10 most interesting players to watch in the English top-flight league.

Jack Grealish

The English playmaker has caught the eye with his ability to score and create goals as he looks to help Aston Villa avoid relegation.

Grealish, who is the Villa captain, has netted seven goals in the league and registered six assists in the process, making him a vital player in the team.

Blessed with dribbling ability and an eye for a pass, Grealish will be looking to ensure that his side retains its status in the elite league.

"If you’re asking me which player I want to watch the most in the Premier League, it’s Jack Grealish," Arsenal legend Paul Merson told Sky Sports.

“But he isn’t getting player of the year. It’s different. It’s got to be Sadio Mane for me. Mane is the player who has been Liverpool’s go-to man at special times in the season. He’s performed and got big goals in big games. He’s the one for me."

Emiliano Buendia

The Argentine midfielder has been a revelation for Norwich City in his debut season in the Premier League.

Buendia is one of the most creative players this term, having registered seven assists and only Kevin De Bruyne, Riyad Mahrez and Trent Alexander-Arnold have more assists than him.

The former Getafe player, who has been used as an attacking midfielder and winger, will be key to Norwich's hopes of surviving relegation from the Premier League.

Joe Gomez

The England international has managed to establish himself as a key player in Liverpool FC's defence.

A composed ball-playing centre back, Gomez has been solid in central defence having helped the Reds concede the least number of goals in the league (21).

Gomez, who is also noted for his athleticism, pace and strength, will be looking to help the Reds clinch their maiden league title in 30 years.

Adama Traore

The Spain international has been outstanding in his breakthrough season in the Premier League.

Traore, who is one of Wolverhampton Wanderers' key players, has caused havoc for the opposition defences with his blistering pace and impressive physique.

The former FC Barcelona academy player has netted four goals and registered seven assists for Wolves as they look to secure a top-six finish in the league.

Danny Ings

The England international has enjoyed his best season in the Premier League after joining Southampton FC from Liverpool FC.

Ings has impressively found the back of the net 15 times for the Saints and he is four goals behind the league's leading goalscorer, Jamie Vardy of Leicester City.

A mobile striker with predatory scoring instincts, Ings will once again be Southampton's main player as they look to move further away from the relegation zone.

Harry Wilson

The Welsh winger has hit the ground running in his debut season in the Premier League as one of AFC Bournemouth's key attackers.

Wilson has established himself as one of the best free-kick takers in the league and he has hit the back of the net seven times for the Cherries thus far.

Blessed with an educated left-foot, Wilson will be hoping to help his side survive relegation before moving back to Liverpool FC as he is on a season-long loan deal at Bournemouth.

Known for his heading and goalscoring abilities, Abraham, who is currently on 13 league goals, will be keen to help the Blues secure a top-four finish in the league.

John Lundstram

The English utility player has caught the eye with his ability to excel as a defender and a midfielder for Sheffield United.

The former Everton academy player has netted four goals and recorded three assists as the Blades look to finish above the likes of Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

“He’s got all the attributes. He runs so much in a game, he provides assists and goals,” Sheffield captain Billy Sharp said about Lundstram on Sheffield Star.

"He’s a real menace to other teams and a great player to have. He gives us a lot of energy and he got an assist as well, which is important.”

The Portugal international took to English football like a duck to water after joining Manchester United from Portugal's Sporting Lisbon in January 2020.

Fernandes impressed with his ability to create and score goals having netted twice and registered three assists in five league appearances.
