Serbian superstar Novak Djokovic is set to take on Hungary's Márton Fucsovics in the 2021 Wimbledon quarter-final match on July 7.

Djokovic reached this stage of the tournament after eliminating Englishman Jack Draper, South Africa's Kevin Anderson, Denis Kudla of the USA and Chilean star Cristian Garin.

The 34-year-old has won five Wimbledon titles including the last tournament which was held in 2019 and he is now targeting a record-equalling 20th major.

Djokovic says he is oozing with confidence after he eased into the last-eight at the All England Club with a 6-2, 6-4, 6-2 win over Garin.

"Confidence levels are very high after winning the French Open," said Djokovic.

"It was one of my biggest wins in the circumstances -- two five-setters, two four-setters in the second week.

"They took a lot out of me but they also gave me wings. The further I go in the tournament, the more comfortable I feel and I look forward to the next challenge."

Meanwhile, Fucsovics booked his place in the quarter-finals after securing wins over Yannick Hanfmann of Germany, Czech star Jiri Vesely, Argentine Diego Schwartzman, and Russia's Andrey Rublev.

This is the 29-year-old's first quarter-final appearance in a Grand Slam singles tournament and he will be determined to reach the semi-finals for the first time in his career.

This will be the third meeting between Djokovic and Fucsovics in competitive matches.

Djokovic won two matches against Fucsovics at the 2019 Qatar Open Round of 16 and 2018 U.S Open first round.

The winner between Djokovic and Fucsovics will take on either Russia's Karen Khachanov or Canadian star Denis Shapovalov in the Wimbledon semi-finals.
