TSG Hoffenheim will take on FC Cologne in a
German Bundesliga match at the PreZero Arena on May 27.
Die Kraichgauer managed to hold Paderborn to a 1-1 draw away in their previous match which was played on May 23.
They are winless in their last seven matches in the league having recorded four defeats and three draws.
Hoffenheim are also winless in their last three home matches in the Bundesliga having registered three successive defeats.
Robert Skov, the Hoffenheim forward, has stressed the importance of improving their finishing in front of goal ahead of their clash with Cologne.
"We need to improve in the penalty area. We're not clinical; we have a lot of chances but we don't take them," Skov said.
"I could've also scored two or three goals today. That needs to be better; we need to work on that."
Meanwhile, Cologne were held to a 2-2 draw by Fortuna Dusseldorf at home in their previous match which was played on May 24.
The draw extended the Billy Goats' winless run to three matches in the league having recorded two draws and one defeat.
They lost their last away match in the Bundesliga and prior to that, the Billy Goats had recorded two successive wins on the road.
The last time Hoffenheim took on Cologne in a league match was on 8 November 2019. Die Kraichgauer secured a narrow 2-1 win over the Billy Goats in a match which was played at Rhein Energie Stadion.
