Sergio Garcia is back in the winners circle and will be hoping to ride his new found wave of confidence when he tees off at the 2020 Shriners Hospitals for Children Open at TPC Summerlin in Las Vegas on Thursday.

The 40-year-old wasted no time in returning to the world top 50 with victory at the Sanderson Farms Championship this past weekend.

One of only five players in history to have spent more than 1000 weeks ranked inside the world's top 50 golfers, Garcia moved up 13 places to 38th following his success Mississippi.

“Well, it's obviously a boost of confidence, there's no doubt,” Garcia said. “Even if I would have not won it, it still would have been a massive high for me this week. To be able to do a lot of the things that I did, it meant a lot. It showed me a lot of what I still have, and what I still can do.”
