With the start of the
English Premier League just days away, it’s time to start getting your fantasy football team finalised. It’s easy to fall into the trap of picking the game’s biggest names from your favourite team but you’ll soon run out of money. Avoid the big names and find talent from newly promoted sides, rising stars and under-the-radar signings that you might otherwise not consider.
Remember, fantasy football is about being able to claim the top spot and rule the roost as the king of the watercooler.
Need a little help getting your side together? Take a look at a few of Betway Uganda's bargain basement pick suggestions that will give your squad depth without breaking the bank.

biggest EPL billionaires.
1. Lukasz Fabianski (West Ham) - £4.5m

Goal keepers are rarely the first players one thinks about when putting together a team but don’t forget, they can earn you points too. Lukasz Fabianski transferred from Swansea to the Hammers on a £7m deal. The keeper shone at Swansea and with a more solid defence in front of him at the Hammers, he could be a points gold mine. Plus, if you still need more convincing, 25.5% of Premier League fantasy football teams have already picked the Polish keeper.
2. Ademola Lookman (Everton) - £5.5m

The 20-year-old Everton midfielder shined in the Bundesliga scoring five goals and assisting three in just seven starts with RB Leipzig. It’s likely he’ll be used at wide forward for the Toffees giving him space to strike. Lookman could, as a result, be an overlooked goal scoring machine at a bargain basement prize.
3. Charlie Daniels (Bournemouth) - £4.5m

With over 200 appearances for The Cherries, Daniels has been a key member of the Bournemouth backline since 2012. Although Daniels has been known to chip in a few goals here and there, his place on your fantasy team will be in aid of the clean sheets stakes.
4. Cenk Tosun (Everton) - £7m

No fantasy football list is complete without a striker pick and the 27-year-old Turkish international is a choice that few will consider. At £7m Tosun isn’t exactly cheap but after a January transfer last year from Besiktas, the striker quickly proved his worth during his 14 appearance with the Toffes.
