Express welcome returning Lwesibawa

Express head coach Wasswa Bbosa has his soldiers on speed dial should there be need to go into war.

One of those is winger Godfrey Lwesibawa with whom he has worked at Express, SC Villa and Tooro United.

The pair will will now reunite at Wankulukuku with Lwesibawa rejoining the club as their sixth signing.

Lwesibawa made his league debut with the Red Eagles in the 2013/14 season and went on to play for two more seasons (2014/15 and 2015/16 seasons) managing 8 goals and 25 assists.

He would later follow Bbosa to SC Villa after the tactician was shown the exit at Express.

Things didn't work out for Bbosa's Villa as a second round collapse saw them surrender the league title to finish third, behind eventual winners Vipers and KCCA FC.

Bbosa left Villa and joined Tooro United and Lwesibawa was one of those he took with him.

The rebuilding at Express will have new blood but Bbosa is calling upon some experienced legs in the squad too.

"I'm so happy to rejoin the club and the ambitions couldn't be any different," Lwesibawa said after putting pen to paper.

"We want to win and that is something we can achieve if we work as a team." he added.
