Express FC sign goalkeeper Kusiima


Since letting go of 18 players at the end of last season, Express FC have been silently working on their recruitment.

On Monday August 10th, the Wankulukuku side started announcing their presence in the transfer market with the signing of goalkeeper Cryspus Kusiima on a two year deal.

Kusiima comes in from relegated Tooro United and will join the battle for the number one jersey with Matthias Muwanga.

“I'm happy to join this great club and I can’t wait to get started,” Kusiima told the club website upon confirmation of the transfer. 

Kusiima is expected to be the first of several signings expected at the club.

With the new season scheduled to start on October 17th, the club have to do their business early to be ready for kickoff.

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni recently hinted on resumption of sport and that will have many stakeholders, Express inclusive, trying to be prepared for whenever the green light is given.

Having finished ninth last season, Wasswa Bbosa's charges will go into the next season with intentions of going up the table.
