Express were one of only two teams to defeat Mbarara City when the latter were hosts in the Uganda Premier League last season.

They will attempt to replicate that feat when they visit Kakyeka Stadium in their third match of the 2020/2021 Uganda Premier League season.
The Wasswa Bbosa coached side is coming off a 2-1 home victory over Bright Stars that moved them to four points and in seventh position on the 16-team log.
“We are in good shape,” revealed head coach Wasswa Bbosa ahead of the game.
“We have injuries but we are confident the players who come into the team will perform like the ones they are replacing so that we can victory,” he added.
He will again look to strikers Frank Kalanda and Eric Kambale for goals, with the pair having both scored in the win over Bright Stars.
Kalanda’s goal was his second in as many games after also scoring in the opening 1-all draw away to Onduparaka.

Daniel Shabene is available for selection after healing from a hamstring injury he picked up against Bright Stars.
Mbarara have meanwhile lost two of the opening three games thus far and picked up their only point in the 1-all home draw with URA.
