Fortuna Dusseldorf will battle with Borussia Dortmund in a German
Bundesliga match at the Merkur Spiel-Arena on June 13.
Fortunen were held to a 2-2 draw by TSG Hoffenheim at home in a match which was played on June 06.
As a result, Dusseldorf are winless in their last two matches in the league having recorded one draw and one defeat.
They saw their four-match unbeaten run on the road in the Bundesliga come to an end when they lost to Bayern Munich in their last away match.
Meanwhile, Dortmund secured a narrow 1-0 win over Hertha Berlin at home in a match which was played on June 06.
This was Black and Yellows' second consecutive win in the league and they are also undefeated in their last two matches in the competition.
Furthermore, they are undefeated in their last four away matches in the Bundesliga having registered four consecutive wins.
Lucien Favre, the Dortmund manager, says his side should continue winning games ahead of the clash with Dusseldorf.
"It was very important to win the game. We have a seven-point lead on two teams," Favre said.
"But we continue to only look at ourselves. There are still four games to go. We want to keep thinking game by game and to do the best we can."
The last time Dusseldorf and Dortmund clashed in a league encounter was on 7 December 2019. The Black and Yellows thumped Fortunen 5-0 in a match that was played at the Signal Iduna Park
