Crested Cranes Team To Face Kenya Named


Uganda National women football team head coach Faridah Bulega has started preparations for the 2018 Africa Women Cup of Nations qualifier against Kenya by naming 30 players.

The Crested Cranes started training Tuesday morning at Namboole stadium ahead of their clash with Kenya early next month.

The two countries will face off on April 4th in Machakos before the return leg set to be held at the StarTimes Stadium in Lugogo on April 8th.

The 2018 Africa Women Cup of Nations tournament will be held in Ghana from November 17 to December 1st.

The tournament will also double as a qualifier to the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup with the top three teams booking their slots.

Bulega will be assisted by Edward Kaziba and James Magala, the latter as the goalkeeping coach.
