Chelsea are set to take on Arsenal in the 2020 FA Cup final at the Wembley Stadium on 01 August 2020.

The Blues have established themselves as one of the most successful teams in the history of the competition.

They have lifted eight trophies and only Arsenal and Manchester United have clinched more FA Cup titles with 13 and 12 respectively.

The last time Chelsea appeared in FA Cup final was in 2018 and they secured a 1-0 win over Manchester United thanks to Eden Hazard's first-half goal.

Frank Lampard, the Chelsea manager, and his troops are heading into the final oozing with confidence after the Blues finished fourth in the 2019/20 Premier League.

"Not having the fans here [at the Stamford Bridge], as the manager of the club, it is important for me to say it was a moment I would have liked to have enjoyed with the fans at the end because we have been very together this year," Lampard said.

"And the support from the fans during some inconsistent and difficult times has been huge. I want to thank them from afar because the achievement of the top four is for them first and foremost and we look forward to having them back."

The Blues will be making their 15th appearance in the final having recorded eight victories and also finished as runners-up eight times.

The last time Chelsea tasted a defeat in the final was against Arsenal in 2017 with the Gunners securing a 2-1 victory.

This means Frank Lampard's men will be seeking revenge when they lock horns with their London rivals Arsenal on Saturday.

Chelsea are heading into their latest London Derby encounter undefeated in their last three competitive matches against Arsenal.

The Blues have recorded two wins in the Premier League and UEFA Europa League matches, while the other game which was a Premier League clash ended in a draw.
