Both teams know that defeat will harm their respective chances of a top-four finish and Uefa Champions League football next season, with Liverpool lurking.

The fixture will come just days after Leicester's 1-0 win over Chelsea in the FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium. Youri Tielemans scored a stunning second-half winner to lead the Foxes to victory.

Chelsea, who will face Manchester City in the Uefa Champions League final later this month, will go into Tuesday's match in fourth spot following a 1-0 loss to Arsenal in their most recent Premier League fixture.

"Totally our fault, nobody else's. We lost, it's totally our responsibility. We had huge chances," said Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel following defeat to the Gunners.

"We weren't on the pitch with the same energy, it wasn't easy to come up with the intensity and passing. We weren't sharp enough and didn't have the same hunger and attitude as we're used to playing with. So it's on us.

"It was maybe too many changes from the last match and I take full responsibility for that. Maybe it's the last wake-up call for all of us," he added.

Leicester sit in third spot, two points ahead of Chelsea in fourth, on the back of a 2-1 win at Manchester United last week.

Leicester claimed a 2-0 win over Chelsea in the reverse fixture at King Power Stadium earlier this season on the back of first-half goals from Wilfred Ndidi and James Maddison.
