The Sky Blues have announced that Hugo Mallo is set to miss the clash against Atletico after suffering a tear in the femoral biceps.
"Wing-back Hugo Mallo suffers a muscle tear in the femoral biceps of his right leg, as revealed by the ultrasound scan performed this morning by the club’s medical services."
"This is a grade I tear will keep the sky-blue captain inactive from three to four weeks," a club statement read.

Meanwhile, Atletico were held to a 0-0 draw by Villarreal at home in their last league game which was played on October 03.

The last meeting between Celta and Atletico in a league match was on 07 July 2020.
