”Betway promised to support the club in terms of development we have done that through the thought leadership. But we would also like to take the CEO and some of the players who we have seen are very enthusiastic to try and improve their skills because we promised that would be part of our additional benefits to the club,” Betway Country Manager Adelle Agaba revealed over the weekend.
She was speaking at “a meet and greet” event organized by the club’s fans and executive held at Golden Tulip over the weekend.
At the function, the club revealed plans for the upcoming season which include construction of what will eventually turn into a 20,000-seater stadium at Kasanje.
The club also unveiled prepaid Visa enabled cards dubbed ‘Visa pay wave’ that their fans will use to access the stadia as well as make transactions outside the stadium.
The card comes in four categories and with varying benefits; the Express Standard will go for shs100,000, the Express Eagle for shs150, 000 and the Premium for shs500, 000 while the Express Black will go for shs1m.

The Express Standard card will the owner ordinary entry to all Express FC home games (league and Uganda Cup) while the Express Eagle will come with a replica jersey on top of the ordinary entry to all home games.
The Express Premium and Express Black cards will involve all the above as well as an Express FC branded travel mug, a soda and bottle of water; half time snacks, and an invitation to the end of year club party.
This will be in addition to a network meeting with the chairman and the board respectively.
