Ahead of the 2018/19 Uganda Rugby Season, Betway Kobs have unveiled a new kit and a number of players.
The function, powered by sponsors Betway, was held at Hotel Africana Wednesday morning.
Betway Kobs unleashed their new kits and also presented to the media players for the upcoming season.
Joseph Aredo and Ronald Musajjagulanyago have returned to the club after short stints in the Kenyan league and will add their experience to the side.
Having struggled in the forwards department last season, Musajjagulanyago will come in handy for the club.
Ivan Kirabo (Kabras Sugar), Robert Aziku (Shell Rimula Rhinos) and Daniel Ortega (Makerere Impis) are some of the other high profile additions to the Blue army.
Fred Ochan, David Agassi, Joshua Obo, Donald Oketayot, Isaac Tago and Wanda Ssula are the other signings.
The team's immediate task will be getting back to the top in the Uganda Cup having lost out in the semis last season.
That journey starts in Jinja as the side play Walukuba Barbarians in the first round.
The team has also welcomed back Fred Mudoola as head coach after a sabbatical due to work commitments.
Edmund Tumusiime will still be at the club as the assistant coach having guided the side to second place in the national sevens series.
The side finished third in the league last season and were runners up in the national sevens series.
Aside from the new recruits, Kobs have maintained the core of the team from last year.
Team captain Brian Asaba and Justin Kimono are still at the club and alongside players like Adrian Kasito, Ian Munyani and James Ijongat, form the core of the team.
